WTMC Summer School 2015: The Politics of Science, Technology, and STS

With Mark Brown as anchor teacher, six inspiring guest lectures, and a group of 31 fantastic PhD-students (half of whom were regular WTMC members), at this Summer School we explored politics in all its appearances: what ‘politics’ and ‘political’ are in the first place, how politics is dealt with in various approaches in STS, and how STS is at times itself political. During the week, we saw a common language developing to deliberate about the politics of STS. The week was engaging, exciting, puzzling, and fun. And of course exhausting, as it should be.
