WTMC Annual Meeting 2018

WTMC Annual Meeting 30 November

Location: De Balie, Amsterdam

The day will start with an update about WTMC policy issues, including the renewed ‘Joint Agreement’ (gemeenschappelijke regeling) of the WTMC member institutions. We will then, similar to last year, discuss career experience of WTMC graduates. Several alumni will join us to share their experiences. After lunch, there will be discussions of two recent books relevant for the WTMC community, see below.

At the end of the afternoon, we will debate on the need for “Deep transitions and transformative innovation policy”, with key note speaker Johan Schot, currently Director of SPRU at University of Sussex, incoming Professor of Comparative Global History at the Utrecht Centre for Global Challenges (UGLOBE) at the University of Utrecht.

All are welcome – PhD members, retired members and everyone interested in the topics we will be discussing (even if not a member of WTMC).

Remember to bring copies of recent publications – books, articles, posters – to display.

Book your place here!

Please find below the draft programme.
