WTMC Annual Meeting, 11 December 2015

WTMC Annual Meeting
11 December 2015, De Balie, Amsterdam

The programme for the WTMC Annual Meeting promises to be a day of learning, debate, and fun. It is also an opportunity to catch up with your colleagues from around the country. Looking to the future, the various recent recipients of funding under the NWO Responsible Innovation Programme will share their plans. We will also reflect on our own history, as Arie Rip introduces his ideas for preparing a history of STS, in the Netherlands and beyond (together with Pierre-Benoit Joly). We will also pay attention to the ongoing discussions in the Netherlands about the Dutch Science Agenda, in which many WTMC members have played an active role, both for and against. By the time of our meeting, the Agenda will be known. We will continue the tradition of discussing recent books by WTMC members, this year featuring Stations in the Field by Raf de Bont, and Science and Democracy, edited by Stephen Hilgartner, Clark Miller and Rob Hagendijk.

Please, register by 1 November ([email protected])
All are welcome – PhD members, retired members and anyone who is simply interested in the topics we will be discussing (even if not a member of WTMC).
